My uncle was put into an assisted living home in October after he got out of the hospital. We live in Florida and he lives in NY.

We weren't able to get to NY to close out his apartment until November, at which time we returned all his equipment on November 8, 2019. We were billed for the entire month because we didn't cancel 5 days prior to the billing cycle. Since there is no phone number that connects us to a live person, we finally chatted with Alba, she said she was a live person but would not understand the circumstances or did not have compassion, but after explaining the entire situation she said the account was in collections and we would have to talk to them.

She could have given me that info at the beginning of the conversation. Hopefully Collections will have a live person we can talk with, since there is no compassion when talking on the computer.
